CISNT serves children in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Many people assume that dropout prevention services need only be provided to high school students. But studies show that children coming from less advantaged economic backgrounds start Kindergarten four to five months behind their more advantaged peers. Without intervention, the gap for these students has grown to four to five years!  So, while we work with children in all grades (K through 12th grade), the earlier we intervene in a student’s academic career, the more effective we are at preventing a student from dropping out of school.
