Job Title: 21st CCLC Enrichment Specialist III Reports to: 21st CCLC Site Coordinator Dept/School: Communities In Schools of North Texas-Campus Denton High Duty/Days: Hourly Wage/Hour Status: Non-exempt Pay Grade: ($10/hour) Date Revised: 7/27/2010
Primary Purpose: The 21st CCLC Enrichment Specialist I reports to the 21st CCLC Site Coordinator and is responsible for leading a group of students in various enrichment clubs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree. Experience working with elementary or secondary students in an enrichment program.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required
- Strong computer skills required, ability to integrate technology into activities
- Ability to work in a fast paced, fast changing environment and be multi-task oriented
- Exhibit a commitment towards the Communities In Schools of North Texas and 21st CCLC mission
- Ability to understand and implement the school day Student Disciplinary Plan
Major Responsibilities and Duties: The individual is responsible for providing enrichment services and instruction to 21st CCLC center students collaborate with 21st CCLC Site Coordinator and develop activities and strategies that will engage and challenge 21st CCLC students at a high level.
Professional Growth Assume major responsbilities for personal growth to improve job performance.
Additional Duties Perform other duties as assigned by the 21st CCLC Site Coordinator.
Supervisory Duties: In coordination with the Site Coordinator, the individual is responsible for supervising any volunteers assigned to assist in club facilitation.
Equipment Used: Computer, FAX, copier, digital projector, digital camera, VCR, other specialized equipment that is particularly unique to the position.
Working Conditions:
- Mental demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); ability to instruct; maintain emotional control under stress.
- Moderate standing, stooping, bending and lifting.
- Work with frequent interruptions.
