Communities In Schools of North Texas is committed to fiscally operating our organization with the highest financial integrity. Uniquely positioned above many other non-profit organizations, our fiscal agent, Little Elm Independent School District oversees all accounting, personnel, and volunteer risk management activities creating an outstanding operating controls environment.
Each year, CISNT submits to a rigorous independent audit, conducted by the firm Hankins, Eastup, Deaton, Tonn & Seay, located in Denton, Texas. View 2003-2004 Audit. The results of these audits have been outstanding and demonstrate the effectiveness of our financial management and day to day processes. Our annual IRS 990 filings tell a story of growth and stability. CISNT has been serving the North Texas community since 1994, the growth in revenue and the diverse sources of our revenue growth have placed us in a position to compete effectively for local, state and federal public funds, as well as foundation and corporate resources.
