You can help Communities In Schools of North Texas serve our students!
Volunteer opportunities are available at each school site and the CIS central office. Volunteers are needed to tutor and mentor students, chaperone field trips, as well as help with office work and administrative duties. Over 1,100 volunteers generously donated more than 10,000 hours to help us last year, but we still need your help!
Here are the steps to becoming a volunteer of Communities In Schools of North Texas:
1. Submit Your Volunteer Application 2. Schedule (RSVP) New Volunteer Orientation 3. Attend New Volunteer Orientation 4. CISNT Processes Your Criminal Background Check & Assigns You to a CISNT Campus 5. Program (Campus) Manager Contacts You to Schedule Your Campus Orientation 6. You Have Your First Meeting with Your Student (Mentee) at their School
